Lion in the Streets written by Judith Thompson directed by Bethani Jade

Lion in the Streets follows the ghost of a nine year-old girl, Isobel (Saija Shearer),

on her journey through the darkest depths of humanity to find understanding,

forgivness, and love. This play will lead you down to meet the monsters we are

all hiding under the surface, and, just when you think there is no hope left, it

will lift you up and touch you with the power of compassion.

Mature content: violence, sexual content

Herbal cigarettes will be smoked during the performance.

inspiration and of struggle. Hosted by the incomparable Derek Watson from

Rock 102, An Intimate Evening with One Bad Son promises to be a night to remember.

This unprecedented local rock experience will be filmed, providing you the

opportunity to become part of One Bad Son history. You don't want to miss out -- the only way to get more intimate with Rock n' Roll is to climb in bed with Robert Plant.

Aboriginal Playwrights' Circle Readings

The evening will feature excepts from the newest works of participants in

Saskatchewan Playwrights Centre's Aboriginal Playwrights' Circle. Works by

emerging writers Jennifer Dawn Bishop, Mark Dieter, Samantha Whitecalf

will be featured, read by some of Saskatchewan's best actors.

This new work from Lott is drawn from Egyptian mythology and the lifecycle of the

a documentary film exploring Canada's Residential School

Learn more about the history of Canada's, particularly Saskatchewan's Residential

Schools and be an ambassador of healing and reconciliation. 

There will be a time for refreshments, displays and dialogue.

Presented by The Anglican Diocese of  Saskatoon Aboriginal Outreach

Network Group in conjunction with the Harmony Song Project of Tamara's House.

The Tamara's House Project provides services for First Nations women

affected by childhood sexual abuse and the legacy of Residential School abuse.

Donations will go toward the continuation of their Harmony Song Project.

the 4th show of the Live Five Series

Sunshine Co-op is proud to present a collection of brand new short plays

written by the ladies of 400lbs of Sunshine.   The evening will include work

from Clare Middleton, whose past Live Five endeavours include Giving Up

and All for Profit, and from Catherine Harrison who wrote Ghosts and

The Last Windwalker , also for Live Five.  Pocket Plays 2 will be their 

thirteenth production of new Saskatchewan plays.
