We
use the “Seasons of the Spirit” curriculum, a lectionary based
resource, for Sunday school. There are three Sunday school classes,
determined by age. Activities include prayer, Bible study, crafts,
drama and outreach projects.

St. James has a youth group that meets on Friday nights. The youth group does fun events in and out of the church, provides outreach opportunities, and helps young people to deepen their faith through prayer, discussion, and worship. The youth group is open to anyone ages 12 and up.
St. James'youth are also invited to take part in a Diocesan Youth Retreat on the Labour Day weekend in September called YDC
Drama
is a big part of youth ministry at St. James.
Every year the children and teens at St. James participate in various drama productions which
include a Christmas musical and a Variety night in the new year.
Here are the St. James' Refinery Kids in their 2005 musical called A Fairy Merry Christmas, which they wrote themselves.
